It's getting SOUP-ER Brisk!

Fall is here! The evening temperatures are certainly becoming more brisk! I don’t know about you, but that makes me want comfort food. What’s more comforting than soup! Tomato Bisque, Potato Soup, Chowders, Borscht, Vegetable and even Chicken Noodle. When it comes to soup, there are so many different options. I love them all and usually can’t wait until the temperatures drop so I can warm up with a piping bowl of hot comfort!

Where to begin, you ask? There are so many things you can do! I love a good split pea with French bread. Or how about creamy pumpkin squash or a hearty beef and vegetable stew with cornbread muffins. Am I making you hungry yet? I’m making myself hungry. I think I’m making soup tonight. I will probably use whatever ingredients I can find in my pantry and veggie bin!

Soup warms us up on chilly days but it can also serve as a source of replenishment for the nutrients we lose throughout our day.
